Lovely finca for sale in Benissa, partida Benimarraig. A traditional country house on a flat plot that has been renovated recently. Only 5 car minutes away from Calpe and Benissa, but with that typical rural feel. Very nice views of the valley and a bit of sea views towards Calpe.

In this charming property for sale in Benissa traditional blends with modern.

You enter this country house in the lounge and you immediately have that good feeling. Cosy and warm. Adjacent to the lounge is the dining room. Furthermore on this level is a fully equipped kitchen, storage room and a shower room. The top floor is reached with the internal staircase. Two bedrooms with renewed, modern en-suite shower rooms and a master suite. This bedroom an en-suite showerroom and dressing area. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

Outside is the porch with on the left a summer kitchen with bbq. On the right of the naya we find a small room which is currently used as an office. With pool and jacuzzi and a mature garden with many fruit trees, like lemons, grapes, oranges and pears. South facing, so sun all day. There is a laundry area and more than enough storage space.

A truly "feel good" villa in the country side of Benissa, with pretty views and a lot of comfort.

Benissa is one of the oldest towns in the Costa Blanca. Situated 275m above sea level in the Province of Alicante. It is a stone´s throw away from the N332 (national road) and the motorway that connects Alicante and Valencia. It has its own train station.

Benissa consists of two parts: the medieval centre inland and the coastal area. Benissa has 4 km of coastline with beaches, coves and cliffs. There is an international community. Most foreigners live in the coastal area. The locals found their homes in the “pueblo”.

Benissa has some terraced vineyards. Here you find old fincas (farms). Many of these country houses are now turned into family houses or bed and breakfasts. The majority of these country estates enjoy panoramic sea views and views of the Peñon d’Ifach in Calpe. Benissa is also a popular holiday destination for tourist from Northern Europe.

The centre of Benissa is charming. The impressive Cathedral Purissima Xiqueta dominates the large town square. Wander through the narrow streets and feel how it was in the old days. Look up to see the tiled balconies, which are typical for the villages in this area. Around the square are various bars and restaurants. Here tourists meet the locals. On Saturday there is a weekly market. An ideal place for fresh products and clothes. Benissa has a catholic history. There is a pretty Franciscan monastery on the outskirts of the village.

The coastline of Benissa is 4km long and nestled between Moraira and Calpe. There are various beaches, coves and cliffs. La Fustera is the number one beach of Benissa. A small sandy beach popular with families. With all amenities for a perfect day at the sea. Another popular beach is Bassetes. Here you find Benissa´s Club Nautico and some nice restaurants. A good place for watersports like sailing, SUP and scuba diving. Click here to learn everything about the coves and beaches in Benissa.

A must do is a walk on the ecological path. An easy walk along the coast with lovely views on the crystal-clear water. Wooden panels next to the path explain the flora and fauna.

Benissa has its own 9 holes Golf Course in San Jaime.

During the year many activities take place. In January is the “Fira I Porrat de Sant Antonti”. More than 2 weeks of activities for the whole family. With animal blessing, a fairground, medieval market, devil fire dances and much more.

In April is the “Fiesta of Purissima Xiqueta”, the patron saint of Benissa. Processions, crowning of the Queen of the fiesta, music and bull running.

The famous “Moors and Christians” celebration takes place in June. A colourful event with parades and more.

In October is the Multicultural Festival. Different nationalities present their products, food, dances et cetera.
