A property with a lot of potential, close to Moraira town. This is a converted office building which consists of one 3-bedroom apartment and three 2-bedroom apartments. Two of the apartments need refurbishment but, two are already renovated and have been used for rental clients. The building sits on 1200m2 plot and in front there is a 1000m2 building plot which has had permission for separation from the original plot but, is being sold together. Good investment / project.
Externally there is a large car parking area with plenty of room for approximately 10 cars and there is a garden area already established.
The first apartments on the right of the building have a large American style kitchen with a spacious living area and air-conditioning unit. There are two bedrooms, one with an en-suite as well as a family bathroom. One of the bedrooms is currently being used as a dressing room.
The second apartment offers a spacious living area with fire place, ceiling fan and u-shaped American kitchen. There are two bedrooms and a good sized bathroom.
The third apartment is currently being used as an office and will need to be renovated. One bedroom is being used as a storage area and the kitchen is fairly new. An air-conditioning unit has already been installed and it would not take too much work for this to once again become a good living space.
The fourth apartment which requires renovation has a fire place and an air-conditioning unit. Most of the work required will be re-plastering of the walls and an en-suite bathroom which will need to be renewed.
There are many possibilities with this property and the adjoining land, an investment opportunity not to be missed.

History
The name Moraira derives from a local legend about an Arabic princess named Ira, la Mora.
In the history of Moraira the Moors played an important role. Some names of urbanisations still refer to the Arab settlement. In the 13th century Christians expelled the Moors. Every year locals celebrate this event during the “Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos”. The new Christian inhabitants arrived from Catalonia and Aragon. This is how the Valencian language entered the region. Teulada exists since the end of the 14th century.
Two hundred years later pirates attacked the coast. To protect themselves they built the watchtower on Cap d´Or. And later the Castle of Moraira which is still in the centre of Moraira.
Economy
End 1700s Teulada was a farming village. Farmers exported the crops by the sea. The locals also started with fishing. They built little fishing houses on the land which is now known as Moraira. For a long time, the fishing industry was the main source of income. But in the 1970s and 1980s international tourists discovered the area. This led to drastic development of hotels, apartments and holiday homes. But no high-rise tourist complexes in this area.
